This Presenter will help Health Care Professionals explain to patients how to use the GDA label which now appears on thousands of food products, and shows how they can use it to help them choose a healthier diet. It provides simple information on one side aimed at the patient, whilst allowing you to see more detailed information at the same time.

GDA labelling industry style guide

Manufacturers wishing to adopt GDA labelling on their products are encouraged to follow the FDF style guide. This includes guidelines on position on pack, number of icons, wording and values on icons, back of pack information and specific examples.

A re-formatted toolkit for Pharmacists helps to explain how to use GDAs and GDA labels and includes a poster, a supportive leaflet and a pocket-sized card with a reminder of the GDA values for peope to keep in their wallets.
